come out of your shellTime for us to come out of our shell
You've been clamoring for more information here in the About Us section. Well, "clamoring" is embellishing a bit. One or two of you have pointed out how lame this page was. You know who you are.
The rest of you can thank those squeaky wheels for this grease. We'll add more, as soon as the one of us who gets paid to put words in the right order can get around to it.

Let's begin at the beginning: How did Sandy and Baldwin meet?
Experts disagree about when Baldwin and Sandy actually first met. Sandy says that right after Baldwin started working at the same ad agency, she introduced herself and made some quick quip about bringing a welcome casserole to his cube. Baldwin says over three months went by before she even noticed him.

The exact date might be disputable, but the first REAL conversation is worth repeating – no matter when it actually happened.

EPISODE ONE: THE PARKING LOT
Sandy had recently been given her Mom’s pristine 1964 Dodge Dart Convertible.  She loved driving it, and took every opportunity to do so.  This fateful morning she gave her friend and co-worker Steve a ride in to work.  They arrived at the overcrowded, overpriced parking lot across from the McCann building in downtown San Francisco.

They pulled into a space right next to the new guy – Baldwin – who was just getting out of his car.  He came over and looked the Dart up and down.  Sandy was used to this, and started to beam.  She rolled down the window, expecting to be asked to tell the history and show off this beautiful automobile.

Instead, Baldwin leaned in and began to speak, “Um, yeah.  Hi.  Listen… could you be really careful getting out of your car… uh, I’m kind of worried about door dings.”

He gestured to his car, and spoke pointedly.

“This is a 1993 Ford Taurus.  And there’s only about 3 million of them left on the road. Thanks.”

He smiled, turned and walked off to the office.  Sandy was stunned into silence.  It was one of the funniest things she ever heard.

Her friend Steve took one look at her and said, “Oh boy. You’re in love.”

He was right.
